COURSES

Reno Mile - 1 mile, run, relay, race, Reno, Nevada

Reno Mile

The one mile route will be entirely on Virginia Street in downtown Reno. We will close Virginia Street from Court Street to 6th Street. The race route will be an out and back course. This is typical of most mile races on city streets in the United States. You will run under the famous Reno Arch twice. The start line and finish line will be outside of the Old Post Office at 50 S. Virginia Street in downtown Reno. We have posted a map of the Reno Mile course here.

Journal Jog - 8K, run, walk, stroller, race, Reno, Nevada

Journal Jog

Course Description »

As the Journal Jog begins its next half century, we thought it was the right time to shift the start and finish lines to Idlewild Park which will make for a better runner experience. The course otherwise will remain the same fast 8K track through scenic and historic old southwest Reno.
